The WLT 2017/18 Season is Announced!
Advanced news of New Season
Wigan Little Theatre is delighted to announce its 2017/18 season which is sure to whet the appetite of theatre-goers and prospective cast members.
The selection is an ambitious programme, offering plays which have never, or rarely been performed in amateur theatre, as well as traditional and classic productions.
The season includes:
Family favourite, Goodnight Mister Tom Adapted by David Wood, 6th-16th September 2017
Moving drama, Ladies in Lavender by Shaun McKenna, 18th October – 28th October 2017
Comedy romp, The Hound of the Baskervilles Adapted by Steven Canny and John Nicholson
29th November -9th December 2017
Traditional panto, Little Red Riding Hood by Bill Collins, 11th January – 27th January 2018
Thriller, Audience with Murder by Roger Leach and Colin Wakefield, 28th February – 10th March 2018
Classic, Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare, 11th April – 21st April 2018
Comedy drama, Bazaar and Rummage by Sue Townsend, 23rd May -2nd June 2018
West End and Broadway hit, One Man Two Guvnors by Richard Bean, 4th July – 14th July 2018
WLT is looking forward to seeing all our regular patrons as well as newcomers to the theatre.
We welcome actors who meet the age criteria at auditions, which usually take place at least three months in advance of the production. If you wish to audition, please check wiganlittletheatre.co.uk
